Discitus
Discitus is a bilingual Canadian boutique training firm specializing in health and organizational performance, management leadership and governance.
Our name, derived from the Latin discitus — to learn, to grow — reflects our deep conviction: organizations are transformed sustainably when the people within them learn, grow and fully assume their role.

Our fundamental belief
We believe that:
-
Human beings are at the heart of sustainable performance
-
Collaboration cannot be decreed; it develops
-
Organizational clarity is an essential condition for engagement
-
Management leadership is strengthened through continuous learning with peers
The role of Discitus is to support this responsibility, never to replace it.
Our approach
Our approach is based on three key principles:
-
Capacity building rather than temporary solutions
-
Structured and engaging learning, rooted in your reality
-
Clear accountability of leaders at each stage
We design learning experiences that:
-
create a common language
-
promote a shared understanding of the issues
-
support collaboration and continuous improvement
-
are integrated over time through educational tools and continuous learning campaigns.
Our intervention model
Discitus' work is structured around three types of complementary interventions:
-
Training, which forms the core of our offering
-
Diagnostics and alignment, to gain clarity and guide priorities
-
Structured workshops, to apply the learning to specific issues
In all cases, Discitus remains in its role as a trainer and capacity facilitator, never as a consultant who takes charge of decisions.

The organizations we work with
We primarily support:
public and semi-public institutions
government organizations and agencies
national or provincial umbrella organizations bringing together other organizations and institutions
networks of managers and leaders of non-profit organizations or public organizations
Our Clients are organizations that recognize the importance of investing in the structured and sustained development of their people.

Our stance
What guides each of our interventions:
-
rigor
-
clarity
-
respect for roles
-
concern for the real impact
-
shared responsibility
At Discitus, training means mobilizing, and mobilizing means creating the conditions for everyone to give their best.
